Please read the following before applying

Our objects
The advancement of music performed by amateur or professional musicians resident in any of the four unitary authorities in the Bristol region: City of Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset, by offering financial support in accordance with the giving policy agreed from time to time by the Trustees.

Our Giving Policy

We offer:

a)   guarantees against loss (GAL) for orchestral, choral, ensemble, operatic performance in the following music genres:

b)   Grants for special music projects eg: educational and/or innovative work with less usual groups, helping with purchase of instruments.

Our Priorities

We are particularly interested in supporting

a)  Works that are less often performed and/or more ambitious repertoire than might normally be chosen

b)  Music that inspires and involves young people in classical music

c)  Performances that are unlikely to happen without financial support

d)  Innovative works

We don't fund

a)  popular music

b)  individuals

c)  organisations whose base is outside our area of benefit

d) overheads, on-going costs or general activities

e) organisations with a high level of unrestricted reserves

Trustees will review the Giving Policy annually. Next review due: March 2024
