Paragon Music Trust
Paragon Music Trust

Message from the Trustees:

Due to the uncertain situation caused as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, we are not able to accept any applications for financial support for the time being. We hope to resume our work in the autumn but please consult this website for updates on our future plans.

The Paragon Music Trust is a registered music charity which administers funds left by the late Leo Reid Baker, a local businessman who was also an accomplished bassoon player.

The Trust's objectives are to promote the knowledge and performance of music for varied combinations of singers and instrumentalists residing in an area, broadly speaking, covering Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset. It supports both professional and amateur performers.

The Trust gives financial help either by offering a guarantee against loss for a particular performance or by making a grant for a specific project. It does not accept applications from individual musicians.

Here is a list of groups supported recently by the Trust.
